Jacques de Guerny is, by education, an economist.1
Dr de Guerny was a senior corporate executive and, simultaneously, professor in France (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and lecturer in East Asian Universities – author of several books on management subjects until retirement.

Neither a scientist nor a believer, his last book was “Buddhapada, following the Buddha’s footprints” (Orchid Press Bangkok – 2014 – 204 pages – also published in French), wishing to share his enthusiasm and comments with a broader spectrum of people.

Within the same spirit, he has chosen to study the “Bronze Drums of South-East-Asia”, a subject never synthesized as such, visiting all the countries involved.

In French: Les Tambours de Bronze de l’Asie du Sud-Est – Éditions Hémisphères – Paris 2017 – 223 pages.

Dr de Guerny is a member of the “Société Asiatique” - Institut de France - Paris.
